Aran bedroom and luxury en-suite bathroom

The Aran is a spacious double room with views past Llanycil church of Lake Bala and the Berwyn mountains. The sash window, which faces south, has a window-seat. The bedroom is furnished with individual period pieces with the principal furniture in satinwood. There is a luxury en-suite bathroom, with views of the garden and mountain stream. The bathroom is accessed via two steps from the bedroom. The Aran bedroom and bathroom were completely refurbished in 2002. The floor area of the Aran bedroom is approximately 18 square metres.

 
Aran facilities:

Bedroom:

  • King sized bed (5ft, 1.5m wide) with wrought-iron headboard and 4-season white goose-down duvet (synthetic available)
  • Central heating via two radiators, one with thermostatic control; electric fan-heater
  • TV with VCR, teletext and remote control
  • Clock-radio (the clock is automatically set using a radio signal)
  • Furniture: satinwood wardrobe and dressing table, pine bedside cupboards, occasional table, chaise-longue, chair, case rack
  • Beverage tray

Berwyn bedroom and luxury en-suite bathroom

The Berwyn is a spacious twin or double room with views of Lake Bala and the Berwyn mountains. As a double the bed is a super-king size. Both the bedroom and bathroom sash windows, which face south, have window-seats. The bedroom is furnished with individual period pieces in keeping with the Georgian era of the house. There is a luxury en-suite bathroom with views past Llanycil church of the Berwyn mountains. The Berwyn bedroom and bathroom were completely refurbished in 2002. The  Berwyn bedroom has a floor area of  approximately 20 square metres.

Berwyn facilities:

  • Twin beds which have mattresses that can be zipped together to form a super-king sized bed (6ft, 1.8m wide) and 4-season white goose-down duvet(s) (synthetic available)
  • Central heating via two radiators, one with thermostatic control; electric fan-heater

  • Clock-radio (the clock is automatically set using a radio signal)
  • Furniture: antique pine wardrobe, chest of draws with marble-top and tiled splash-back, oak bedside cupboards with marble tops, two comfortable chairs, case rack

  • Full-sized bath with hand-held mixer shower/taps

Arenig bedroom and en-suite shower-room

The Arenig is a double room with views over the garden to Lake Bala and the Berwyn mountains. The Arenig bedroom  has a charm of its own with several interesting features. The "bay-style" window, which faces east, provides a sitting area with views of the garden. The window has internal shutters that can be used to block the early-morning sun, if a "lie-in" is desired.  There is a luxury en-suite shower-room with a "Grand deluge" power-shower. The Arenig bedroom and bathroom were refurbished in 2003. The  Arenig bedroom has a floor area of  approximately 14 square metres, excluding the "bay-style" window and fitted wardrobes.

  • Double bed (4 ft 6 ins, 1.4m wide) with wrought-iron headboard and 4-season white goose-down duvet (synthetic available)

  • Spacious power-shower "Grand deluge" with thermostatic control (walk-in)
